My Top 5 Sneakers 2020
You will always catch me wearing sneakers. I love the comfort that a good pair of sneakers gives. I have a total of 15 sneakers which I wear all the time. I see to it that I have a pair of sneakers for every occasion— may it be for travel, gym, or just something casual. I don’t really call myself a collector but once you have that one pair of sneakers, you can never stop buying more pairs. And yes, I am that woman who prefers sneakers over heels— cause why not? Below are my top 5 sneakers from my wardrobe;
5. Alexander Mcqueen Oversized Sneakers
What I love about this pair is that it has a platform that allows you to look and feel taller. I also like the pop of color located at the tab part of the sneakers. Mcqueens are just subtle designers but they will really turn heads when you wear them. It is a white sneaker so you can easily wear it with anything. I wear them whenever I want to feel sophisticated because of its look and feel.
4. Adidas Falcon W
The Adidas Falcons are made exclusively for women but have a counterpart which is the Yung 96 for men. As a person who has wide and flat feet, this pair is the 2nd most comfortable pair I have. Because of its wide and chunky vibe, my feet perfectly fit the sneakers which give me more comfort.
I love the pop of orange on the outsole and the cow print at the side of the sneakers. As you can see above, they are dirty as I use them as my daily beaters. They are so comfortable that I always wear them whenever I go back to and from Manila. The comfort that it gives my feet just takes all the stress that the transport system gives.
3. Converse x JW Anderson Chuck 70′ Grid
I always wanted to have a pair of Hi Top Chucks but I never bought one for myself until I saw this pair. We all know that the Chucks are classic pairs of sneakers and they are also accessible as you can buy them from almost all the malls here. But I really wanted a pair that stands out, so I bought myself a pair of Converse Chucks 70′ x JW Anderson from the Grid Collection.
This pair is comfortable as well. I love that it is different from any other chucks that you normally see. I also love the prints of the branding of JWA all over the sneakers. And for me, this is my go-to white sneakers as you can easily pair them with anything-—may it be with dress, shorts, or pants.
2. Jordan 11 Bred
This is an 8-year old pair of sneakers as they were released in 2012. Compared to the new releases of the Jordan Brand, I prefer the older releases as they have, as for me, better quality and fit. Even though it is an 8-year old sneaker already, it still holds its shape and serves its purpose.
These are the comfiest sneakers that I own. I can see myself beating this up as they also go with anything. You can easily achieve your sporty/ athleisure look with these sneakers without any effort.
1. Jordan 1 Bred
I never really liked the silhouette of the Jordan 1 because I was an Adidas fan. I started to appreciate the beauty of the Jordan 1s since I saw photos/fits of women posted on Instagram. Unfortunately, the colorway I fell in love with happens to be a “holy grail” which means that it is more difficult to get and more expensive compared to other Jordan 1s. But nonetheless, here it is;
Because of its classic silhouette and colorway, you can easily wear these with anything in your wardrobe and elevate it. You can even wear it with your basics and still turn heads! This is the pair that speaks for itself.
